Search and Register Available Domain Names (from Feb 8th, 2011)
There are two ways to check for the availability of your chosen domain name:
1. From the CentralNic website: https://www.centralnic.com/names/domains
To search only for a .gr.com domain name you must enter both your chosen name and the .gr.com suffix in the search box.
For example :
If you want to check the availability of domain name : (www.)web.gr.com
enter ‘web.gr.com’ in the search box.
If you enter just the word ‘web’ you will see the availability for all CentralNic suffixes, together with .gr.com.
2. Go to the registrar of your choice from the registrar list here and use their availability checker in the same way as above.
